Hooray! I feel your pain, and I think that you're going about it with the right attitude. I wish I had had more patience, and for my sanity I stopped the co-sleeping with the younger boys. After 3.5 years with Christian's sleep problems (and they were our fault), I was relieved to have the boys sleep on their own through the night knowing that I was doing them a favor by training them to sleep alone. Congrats, and may you have many more restful nights!
